Sevayatan Sikshan Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association History
Sevayatan Sikshan Mahavidyalaya has a very vibrant Alumni Association. This association has a deep bond with the college. It helps to maintain a continuous link between the college and ex-students and maintain a close affinity with all.
Under the supervision of Principal Dr. Ashis Kumar Gupta, Sevayatan Sikshan Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association was initiated with a Working Committee of 30 people. Then the Principal of the college, Sri Gunadhar Mahata was selected as President of this association, Sri Pradyot Kumar Sharangi was selected as Acting-President of this association, Sri Mahendra Nath Mahata was selected as Vice-President of this association, Sri Promod Ranjan Mahata was selected as Vice-President of this association, Dr. Prem Chand Dey was selected as Secretary of this association, Sri Mukul Das was selected as Asst. Secretary of this association, Sri Sudipta Bhunia was selected as Treasurer of this association. In this working committee one renowned doctor, one reputed lawyer, secretary of teacher’s council of the college and secretary of the students union of the college were involved as the well-wisher and advisor of the association. It started with 50 members and currently holds strength of almost 200 life members and about 4500 annual members.
Many of the alumni of this college are well established and working with reputed organizations in abroad and India. Besides these many alumni are serving the society as college faculties, school teachers, nurses, defence etc. They all have been an integral part of this journey and have played an important role.
Sevayatan Sikshan Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association regularly organizes seminars, awareness programme and health camps for the benefit of the students. Every year the alumni association organize a day long reunion programme. It offers enough space for the ex-students of this institute to take a wonderful trip down to the memory lane by organizing this union with so much pomp and grandeur. The ex-students of the college organize exhibitions, seminars and cultural programmes to commemorate this day.
In addition to this every year the Alumni Association arranges at least two free health camps, one Blood Donation camp, tree plantation programme and one memorial lecture in loving memory of our first Principal Panchkari Dey.
The Sevayatan Sikshan Mahavidyalaya Alumni Association had enthusiastically performed a handful programmes throughout the academic session. It also plays a vital role in helping our ex-students by providing self-employment ventures. Various initiations are taken by the association to encourage the ex-students in such ventures.
OUR MOTO :

- To help cordially for the development of the college and raise sufficient fund for the same.
- To arrange reunion every year.
- To arrange general meeting every year.
- To arrange many events every year.
- To organize free health checkup camp for ex-students present students and stuffs.
- To help the poor and meritorious students with financial support.
